By coffeechick - February 5, 2009I purchased two pair of jeans for my daughter in the store, four days later I find the exact same jeans on sale online for $20.00 cheaper. I called the customer service # to discuss a credit to my A&E credit card. At first the lady seemed reluctant to do the transaction and suggested that I return the jeans to the store and then purchase them online for the sale price!! I nicely explained that I live in "one horse town America" and that it is three hours from any A&E store. She changed her attitude and became very friendly and did the credit. I'm a big stickler for "customer service" (my pet peeve) and was actually impressed with this customer service especially after reading some of the reviews on this site about A&E.
