Expect to pay change fees and fare difference. Total change fees typically average about $130 per ticket. You also may be required to pay a fare difference, if your new flight costs more.
You cannot change the name on an airline ticket or give the ticket to someone else to use. Also, you cannot exchange a ticket from one airline to another. E-tickets: Call at least 24 hours before your original departure to change or cancel a ticket.
Paper tickets: Call at least 14 days before departure. This will allow enough time for you to return the original ticket to our service center and for Orbitz to ship you the new ticket.
