Win a $120 Balance Ball Chair System from Gaiam

I don't know about you, but I spend way too much time sitting. Until last week, I was a full-time student, so I spent a lot of time sitting in class. When I wasn't in class, I was sitting in my couch or in my bed doing homework or watching TV (or both at the same time-- shhhhh...). When I wasn't doing homework and/or watching TV, I was sitting in a desk at work. With all this sitting, I'm afraid that I'm doing more harm than good to my body. So, I'm making healthy changes -- I get up to walk as often as possible, and when I'm out and about, I choose to stand instead of sit. At least that way, I can give my body a little more of a push. I really value my body, and health is important to me.

That's why I really like Gaiam. Their store philosophy promotes healthy lifestyles, and that's so incredibly important. Recently, when I was feeling a bit down, a friend of mine lent me some workout DVDs-- and then I saw the Gaiam logo. How cool. Gaiam's a great place to shop because they actually care about your well-being. To show it, they are giving away this balance ball chair system, valued at $120.

I'm motivated because I'm short! lol. Seriously tho. This looks like a GREAT product! At just 5'4" I want great posture so I look thinner, feel better and don't have to go back to the chiropractor more often.

  4. Shasha Andrews says:

What motivates me to improve my posture is this- when I have bad posture, my back hurts all the time. I'd like to stop that. The more I work my inner core, the better my posture is, the less my back hurts!

I would love to win this Gaiam product as I just had back surgery. This would help aid in my recovery as my posture and core need alot of work to get myself strong enough to return to work after years of pain and being forced to become a couch potato. I desperately could use this product to aid in getting back into my uniform but help prepare me physically for my job as a flight attendant. Thanks for the opportunity to enter for a chance to win!

I visited the Gaiam site- it is a brand I know and trust! What motivates me to have better posture is at 50+ I am feeling the effects of aging - backaches, and aches and pains where there were none before. I would love to own a chair like this- for computer use it would strengthen my core and help keep my bones strong.

    Thanks much for the chance!

  13. Susan Lannet says:

When I was a little girl, I watched my Great Grandmother go from being around 5'11" to being 5'7" with a huge hump on her back. Now I see my Father having the same problem. I don't want to have any issues with my posture like my family. I also know that it doesn't matter how much milk you drink or how much calcium you intake, because if you don't keep correct posture you will develop a hump. I also have 4 children, who motivate me to keep my posture correct.

  14. Suzanne Lomax says:

  24. Pascale says:

I am quite familiar with Gaiam products as I have used some including their yoga & exercise videos for at least the past 10 yrs. I am pretty sure we even have a yoga for kids Gaiam video. What motivates me to have better posture is my health. I have suffered for about 9 yrs with fibromyagia, more severe in 2008-2010. With the sedentary lifestyle that this disease often brings with it & the excrutiating pains & fatigue that often keep me homebound, sometimes weeks at a time, stretching & yoga exercises are important. Sitting with better & proper posture saves me some back, shoulder, neck pains that very soon radiate within the entire body ruining days or weeks. So truly hoping I could win this!!!
