The most important HP back to school item is the HP All-In-One Printer. Not only can it print documents, but it can scan images, copy them, and in some models even fax them out. Printing documents is important at every stage of education... even college professors who use online software to check against plagiarism require it!
The HP Pavilion Laptop is the item that is most needed for school. My daughter would be lost without one.

Definitely an HP laptop is key to success for students. The HP Touchpad failed because of poor marketing. The biggest reason the old hardware hampered the software growth of WebOS. The HP engineer ran WebOS on an iPad 2 and it ran twice as fast. Taking into account it was even optimized for it and it tells a lot. Too bad since WebOS was a really nice OS that could have been great.
