Less than a month ago, Barnes and Noble launched the new Nook Tablet. At $249, the product is an exceptional value that comes with TV & music-streaming capability, email, web, and access to more than 2.5 million books.  According to the Barnes & Noble website, the new Nook tablet has received extensive media praise from Fortune, Forrester Research, and PC Magazine. You can even read a more extensive review from the Los Angeles Times. With a 7-inch screen and a 1024 by 600 resolution, there is plenty of comfortable viewing room. Believe it or not, the Nook Tablet also runs Android apps. If you're considering buying one, check out CNET for a more detailed review.

    it would be a wonderful Christmas gift for my husband, whose wanted one for a while, he loves reading books especially biographies. he would also put it to good use when he gets deployed in may, and keep himself busy until he comes back home.

    I would gift this to my daughter. It is the one thing she is always asking for but has yet to receive. To say she is an avid reader is greatly down playing it. This way she can read all the books she can and save space in her bed room. She can also use this to use on school projects and other things for school. She is on the National Honors society and this would only enhance her education even more.

    With a brand new nook I would be able to read more of the new releases. I really don't get that chance. Besides all the other things the nook could do. I would always be in touch with everyone everywhere too. This would be great to own!!

    If I had a eNook, I'd have access to the books, I'd like to read, my brain to feed, and be happy, yes, indeed.
    A teacher's dream come true, to have the books she needs, for she will plant the seeds, in the students that she leads.

    I would use my Nook to read more books, as well as keep track of my updates from work. I love the idea of keeping them organized without wasting paper printing them! I would also use it to hold pictures to show everyone rather than my phone!

    I love to read books. My grandchildren think it is really neat to have a book read from an ereader - so I would probably give them the Nook as their Dad is an English teacher and he has started early to instill the love of reading in his children.
