So here is the scoop, there is a Target within walking distance of my apartment. This is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because I love, love, love Target; but a curse because while the mind is willing the wallet is empty!
I always promise myself that I will just grab some toilet paper and some scented candles, and then that's IT. I'm out before something catches my eye and lures me in. Suffice to say it never works out that way. I somehow always end up spending way over my allotted $20-$25 dollar personal Target budget.
Picture this: I walk briskly through the sliding doors, head for the pet snacks section. Quietly repeating the following mantra in my head "dog treats, dog treats, dog treats, dog treats...." I pick up a can of Snausages for my bulldog Buddha. I think I'm safe, I'm headed for the cashier....then WHAM!
I see these super cute Gladiator Sandals! They are available in black, at least they look black to me yet the description says brown. The bottom is cushioned and the straps are studded. Super comfy and super cute. Here is how all women know they happened upon a good deal, when other women begin to swarm around you and slowly pick up what you are looking at. Cha-ching! - you just won the shopping lottery.

Of course I bought them, and they are now my "favorite" pair of sandals. The only fly in my shopping ointment is - I should have bought them online!
