Cleaning gemstones embedded in jewelry:
While cleaning gemstone jewelry, the first thing we should take into account is the setting of the gemstone, that is it should be tight and the stones should not feel loose in the jewelry.
1) Take a bowl of luke warm water and add some mild detergent in it.
2) Soak the gemstones in the liquid for about 10 minutes
3) Take a soft cloth and rinse it in the liquid and wipe the gemstones with it.
4) Rinse the gemstone under running water and wipe it with soft cloth or soft tissue.
5) Wrap each gemstone in separate soft cloth or soft tissue and store.
Follow points 1 through 2 as given above
Now take a soft tooth brush dipped in the lukewarm water with detergent and scrub the area where the gemstones are located. This should get the dirt out.
Now follow points 3 through 5 as given above |
