BEWARE OF RENATO DIAMOND WATCHES....

as they are not the color and clarity they claim. I have ordered 3 watches from ShopNBC and Renato Watches and each time the diamond quality that was represented as G color and VS clarity were worse. I know this because I have been in the loose diamond business for 30 years.

The reviews of these watches on ShopNBC are glowing but that is because the average person wouldn't know G VS from I SI. The watches do look good but the diamonds are being totally misrepresented and people are paying high prices for goods that are not as claimed. BUYER BEWARE.

Thank you for the compliment...and I do know about diamonds 30 years in the business has taught me a lot.

As for your question I honestly have no need for sights on line to purchase diamonds from as I have many people I work directly with in NYC.

The only reason I tried to buy the diamond watch on ShopNBC because I knew what the diamonds would cost me to purchase them loose from my suppliers. The color and clarity stated G VS would have cost me to buy at least $550-$600 per carat. So doing the math the watch had 2.45cts x $600 per carat=$1,470. For the strap, movement, labor etc the price I paid of $1,956.00 was a great value...I also had a 15% off coupon from the orig coupon price of $2,295.00.

That was of course if the diamonds were as stated...Which they were not...and that Is why I returned the watch. To be lied to insults my intelligence and I would never let them get away with that. Sadly, as I stated in my note...most people know nothing about diamonds and that is why they write such glowing reviews on ShopNBCs website. They are being cheated by Renato and ShopNBC and do not even realize it. That is why I wrote what I did...to attempt to protect consumers from these predator companies.
